Lesson Plan

Content to be Taught: Life Science

Aligment with State Standards:
    * 2 Plants and animals have structures for respiration digestion, waste disposal, and transport of materials. As a basic for understanding this concept.
1.) 2.a Students know many multicellular organism  have specialized structures to support the transport of materials.
2.) 2.e Students know how sugar, water, and minerals are transported in a vascular plant.

Students Learning Styles:  I will include in my lesson the use of internet because it wil help those students with visual learning to understand the concept as they see different pictures and axplanations in the websites. I will also narrate the information will help those students who are auditory learners. For my kinesthetic learners I will include hands on activities that will expand on their internet research.

Technology Resources and Learning: I will make groups of about 6 studnets. There will be only one group at a time using the internet to research. The other groups will be either using witten divices to research or will be completing a lab related to the research. A list of acceptable websites will be provided to the students to facilitate their research.

Assessment: I will assess students understanding of plants based on the standards by testing them with questions drawn straight from the websites provided.
